The febantel/pyrantel blend is effective against roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms, while praziquantel efficiently targets and eliminates all major tapeworm species, including the tough-to-treat hydatid tapeworm.

Important Information: Drontal works by killing the adult worms present in the intestines at the time of treatment. However, it does not provide immunity against future infestations. As dogs can become reinfected through exposure to other animals or contaminated environments, regular worming is essential for continued protection.

Recommended Treatment Schedule:

• For Puppies:

  • 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 weeks of age
  • Monthly at 4, 5, and 6 months of age
  • Every 3 months after 6 months of age

• For Pregnant and Lactating Bitches:

  • Before mating
  • 10 days before whelping
  • 2 and 4 weeks after whelping

• For Dogs in Hydatid Tapeworm Areas:

  • Every 6 weeks to prevent reinfection
