Ingredients:

Whole milk solids, whey protein, casein, vegetable oils, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, taurine, essential vitamins (A, B-complex, C, D3, E, K), biotin, choline, inositol, and a full spectrum of minerals (calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, magnesium, zinc, iron, manganese, copper, iodine, selenium).

Pack Size:

• 165g powder (makes approximately 500mL of milk)

Mixing Instructions:

• To make 20mL: Mix 1 level scoop (6.5g) with 15mL of warm pre-boiled water.

• To make 100mL: Mix 33g (5 scoops) with 70mL of warm pre-boiled water.

Mix half the water with the powder to form a smooth paste, then add the remaining water and stir thoroughly. Avoid overly hot water to prevent curdling, and avoid cold water as it may not dissolve the powder properly. Prepared milk can be refrigerated for 24 hours or frozen for up to two weeks in portion-sized amounts (e.g., ice cube trays).

Feeding Guide:

• Warm pups by hand before feeding.

• Warm milk to approx. 35°C and feed using an eye dropper or syringe with catheter.

• Feeding frequency:

  • Every 2 hours for the first 3 days

  • Every 3 hours during the first week

  • Every 4 hours by the second week

• After feeding, stimulate urination and defecation.

• Offer pre-boiled water during hot weather to avoid dehydration.

• Once pups are mobile, provide access to drinking water at all times.

Note: For newborns that have not received maternal colostrum, use Impact Colostrum Supplement before introducing milk formula.

Growth & Monitoring:

Different bat species grow at varying rates. Use the Gould’s Wattled Bat growth chart as a general guide for other small microbat species. Weigh pups daily using a precise scale (accurate to 0.1g) to track progress and adjust feeding volumes. Avoid overfeeding, as it can lead to digestive upset.

Weaning Instructions:

• Begin offering soft solid foods (e.g., mealworms, fly pupae with heads removed) at around 3–4 weeks of age when pups are fully furred.
• Gradually increase solid food and reduce milk over time.
• Full weaning is typically complete by 6–8 weeks, depending on the species.
• Supplement diet with Small Carnivore Food in moist crumble form and live insects.
• Enhance insect nutrition with Insect Booster to support optimal growth.
