Vetsense Kilverm Poultry Wormer 125ml - POULTRY ONLY

Important - Please Read Before Ordering

This product is Kilverm POULTRY ONLY (SKU: V3036). It should not be confused with Kilverm Pig and Poultry 125ml (SKU: 10970), which is a different product. Please ensure you are ordering the correct item for your needs.

Vetsense Kilverm is an effective levamisole-based wormer for poultry, formulated to treat sensitive strains of the most important and commonly found intestinal worms in backyard and commercial birds. Active against large roundworms (Ascaridia galli), caecal worms (Heterakis gallinae) and hairworms (Capillaria spp.), Kilverm is a reliable and easy-to-administer liquid wormer that is mixed with drinking water for simple and stress-free treatment of chickens, ducks, geese, guinea fowl, quail, turkey and other birds.

With no withholding period for eggs, Kilverm is a practical choice for backyard chicken keepers who want effective worm control without disrupting egg collection. A single treatment followed by a repeat dose two weeks later provides a comprehensive worming course for birds with a known worm burden.

Active Ingredient

14 g/L Levamisole (equivalent to 16.5 g/L Levamisole Hydrochloride).

Administration

Mix with clean drinking water. For maximum efficiency the medicated water must be consumed in the shortest time possible. Withhold water from birds for 2 hours before nightfall. Make the required amount of medicated water available so that birds can begin drinking at daylight. Replace with clean water after 8 hours or when the medication has been consumed.

Birds under continuous light should have water withheld for 2 hours before being given medicated water as above.

Standard dilution rate: Mix 40mL per litre of water for 1 day. Repeat 2 weeks later.

Neat dosing: Kilverm can also be given undiluted directly into the throat at a dose of 1.75mL per kg of bodyweight. The dose rate remains the same whether diluted or given neat.
