Ultravac 7 in 1 is a Zoetis vaccine used to prevent leptospirosis and major clostridial diseases in cattle. It offers comprehensive protection against Leptospira species and the key Clostridium diseases that can impact herd health and productivity.

 

Protects Against:

  • Enterotoxaemia (Pulpy Kidney Disease)
  • Tetanus
  • Black Disease
  • Malignant Oedema (Blackleg-like Disease)
  • Blackleg in cattle and sheep
  • Leptospirosis (L. hardjo and L. pomona)

 

Key Features & Benefits:

  • Prevents urinary shedding of L. hardjo and L. pomona, protecting cattle, handlers, and the environment.
  • Prevents reproductive tract colonisation and placental or foetal infection with L. hardjo.
  • Can be administered from 6 weeks of age, or from 4 weeks in high-risk environments.
  • Provides year-long protection after the initial 2-dose course, with a single annual booster thereafter.
  • Low-volume 2.5 mL dose minimises injection-site reactions.
  • Vaccine remains viable for up to 30 days after opening when stored correctly (2 °C – 8 °C).

 

Dosage and Administration:

For cattle only. Administer by subcutaneous injection high on the neck behind the ear.

Storage:

Store refrigerated at 2 °C – 8 °C. Do not freeze. Keep upright and protected from light. Can be used for up to 30 days after opening if handled hygienically and stored correctly.

 

Registered Label Warnings:

  • Sterilise all injection equipment by boiling for 10 minutes before use.
  • Inject subcutaneously only, high on the neck behind the ear.
  • Use clean, sharp needles and replace frequently.
  • Avoid injecting in wet or dusty conditions.
  • Follow label directions and veterinary guidance at all times.
