Sykes Minbal 4 in 1 500ml

The Sykes Minbal 4 in 1 500ml is a ready-to-use compound mineral injection for the prevention and treatment of milk fever, grass tetany, and other mineral deficiencies.

Administration instructions:

Warm the fluid to body temperature if feasible before injecting it. Snap the plug's tip off, allowing the fluid to flow freely, then insert the sterile needle supplied. Disinfect the injection site before inserting the needle through the skin of the neck or over the ribs. Squeeze the bag gently to inject the contents. Following injection, the region may be massaged to allow for faster absorption of the fluid. Large amounts should be dispersed among many injection sites. If not recovered completely within 3-4 hours, repeat the injection and seek veterinarian assistance.

*Note - Minbal 4 in 1 should be used when the animal does not respond to Rudduck Double-Cal as the animal may be lacking in other minerals.*

IMPORTANT:

When treating hypomagnesaemia (grass/lactating tetany) an initial treatment with a magnesium salt solution should be given as well as this product.

All care must be taken to deliver the dose slowly whilst monitoring the cows heart closely.

Storage and disposal:

Store below 30°C (Room Temperature) Protect from light.

Dispose of unwanted packaging by wrapping in paper and placing in garbage. Discarded needles should be placed in a designated and appropriately labelled “sharps” container.
