Stance Equitec Sand Buster is designed to feed to horses exposed to dry or sandy conditions, where an accumulation of sand in the hind gut may have occurred.
SandBuster contains Psyllium husk, CoolStance® (Coconut meal), and Montmorillonite.
Montmorillonite is an absorbent clay mineral that swells 5 times its dry volume in water. It acts as an indigestible gelatinous lubricant. This blend of ingredients is each selected because of their unique action in increasing rate of passage, becoming gelatinous and supporting intestinal mucosa repair. It is designed to be feed once daily for 8 days and then repeated monthly or as required.
