How To Use — Bird Medication & Feeding
- Hold the bird comfortably with the tip of your thumb under the bottom bill. Do not use excess force. For larger birds, wrap a towel around the body to assist restraint.
- Allow the bird to bite the needle ball, then gently roll the ball over the tongue toward the back of the mouth. Align the needle with your thumb.
- Using a gentle to-and-fro twirling motion, pass the needle into the crop. You will feel the ball of the needle moving along your thumb as it enters the crop.
- Administer the solution from the attached syringe, then gently remove the crop needle.
Note: Always be aware of the recommended volume to administer before use. Please read and follow all instructions included with this product prior to use.
