• Prescribed by veterinarians for the nutritional support of dogs with, or a tendency to form, urate, oxylate and cystine uroliths

• Controlled levels of protein, decreased purine and uric acid excretion, alongside a targeted urine pH, decreases the risk of urate crystal and urolith formation 

• The low protein level helps to decrease urea production and dilute the urine 

• Targeted urinary pH (7.1 - 7.7) increases the solubility of crystals 

• Taurine and L-carnitine are included to promote heart health 

• The dietary buffering capacity is increased to aid in raising pH urinary levels to reduce urate crystallisation 

• Antioxidants (vitamin E and beta carotene) are added to control cell oxidation and reduce inflammation

• Low sodium levels contribute to a healthy urinary tract

• Urate & cystine urolith management

Other Indications:

• Copper storage disease

• Hepatic encephalopathy

• Portosystemic shunt

• Uremic encephalopathy

Contraindications:

• Growing puppies, pregnant or nursing dogs

• Struvite urolithiasis

• Hypoalbuminaemia

• Hyperlipidaemia

• Pancreatitis, history of pancreatitis or at risk of pancreatitis
