Black Parrot Chews 17% are a 17% protein general purpose parrot breeder and maintenance food manufactured in large nut form to provide a novelty treat for parrots to chew and play with. 

Chews are formulated to provide the necessary nutritional requirements of adult birds and are suitable for both breeding parrots and as a general maintenance food. Parrot Chews 17% are balanced for essential nutrients such as protein, energy, vitamins and minerals eliminating the necessity to feed expensive supplements.

Parrot Chews 17% contain fish oil, a rich source of omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA which support joint, cellular, feather and skin health. They also have added turmeric which contains the active ingredient Curcumin that has been shown to have beneficial antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.

Feeding Recommendations

Black Parrot Chews 17% can be fed ad lib. as the sole diet or along with Black Parrot Breed & Grow 18% or Black Parrot Adult 15%. They can also be fed as a nutritious supplement to a grain or fruit based diet.

Ingredients

Black Parrot Chews 17% are formulated from a selection of the following ingredients: Wheat, triticale, barley, oats, rice, peas, lupins, beans, lentils, canola, soya, sunflower and products derived from these ingredients. Fish oil, turmeric, limestone, di-calcium phosphate, sodium bicarbonate, potassium carbonate, salt, lysine, methionine, threonine, tryptophan, isoleucine, valine, arginine, colouring, antioxidant and enzymes.
Vitamins: A, D3, E, K, B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B5 (pantothenate), B6 (pyridoxine), B12, niacin, folic acid, biotin and choline.
Minerals: Calcium, phosphorus, sodium, chloride, cobalt, copper, iodine, iron, manganese, molybdenum, selenium and zinc.
