Specially developed by avian veterinarians, Macaw Nuts are a premium, species-specific extruded diet formulated to meet the complete nutritional requirements of South American parrots, including macaws, conures, amazons, and other large parrots. Rich in essential nutrients, this scientifically balanced formula also provides the additional protein, fatty acids, calcium, and vitamins necessary to support breeding, egg production, and the healthy growth of young birds.

Enriched with whole fresh nuts, Macaw Nuts closely mimic the natural foraging diet of exotic parrots. The inclusion of almonds, peanuts, and other grains enhances palatability while encouraging natural feeding behavior. Although specifically designed for South American birds, this diet is also suitable for Australian and Asiatic parrots as a high-quality, balanced feed.

This extruded food is cooked at high temperatures to ensure maximum safety, improved digestion, and increased palatability, making it easier for birds to absorb vital nutrients.

Feeding Guide:

For optimal results, Macaw Nuts should make up approximately 80% of your bird’s total daily diet. The remaining 20% can be supplemented with:

• Fresh fruits and vegetables (15%)
• Hand-selected whole nuts like almonds, macadamias, and walnuts (5%)

This balance ensures complete and natural nutrition while encouraging variety and enrichment in your bird’s daily routine.
