It works just like your toilet and Wont affect your water bill make sure it’s on a flat surface. and your dogs carnt tip it over that’s important You need to buy a $2 connection from bunnings because it’s from the US take the bowl with you so can make sure of the fit and test it at Bunnings that’s what I did and your good to go.I have Bloodhound’s and thought it might be a bit small but it’s perfect. You still have to check it and clean but that’s easy just empty half fill swirl around empty and let it refill and your done and that’s every couple of days nothing like buckets having to wash every day and refill . Love it
