Essential daily vitamin support for guinea pigs

Guinea pigs, unlike most animals, cannot produce their own vitamin C. Without sufficient vitamin C in their diet, they are at risk of developing scurvy—a painful and potentially life-threatening nutritional deficiency. Signs of scurvy include lethargy, poor appetite, lameness, swollen joints, rough coat, and even nasal discharge.

Vita-C Tablets are specially formulated to prevent this condition by supplying guinea pigs with a balanced blend of vitamin C and additional essential vitamins. These soluble tablets are easy to use—just dissolve one in your pet’s drinking water—and provide ongoing nutritional support throughout the day.

Note: If your guinea pig is being fed a complete and balanced diet such as Cavy Origins, additional vitamin C supplementation may not be required.

Directions for Use:

• Dissolve 1 tablet in 500mL of drinking water.
• Replace water and refresh solution daily to ensure potency.
• Can be used in conjunction with other supplements.
• Do not supplement if your guinea pig is already receiving a complete diet such as Cavy Origins, which contains sufficient vitamin C.

• Vitamin D3 – 60 IU
• Vitamin E – 1.25 mg
• Vitamin K – 500 µg

Storage Instructions:

• Store below 30°C, in a cool, dry place, away from moisture and direct sunlight.
