Misleading Flexibility Claims, but Good Customer S
By: Anothay Dorman on 13 April 2026I purchased the TPU Soft Mouth Loose Ring Mullen Mouth Bit (Full 13.5cm) expecting a more flexible TPU mouthpiece. However, the bit is actually a metal core with a thin TPU coating, which makes it much firmer than anticipated. This may not be suitable for horses that are sensitive or have difficulty accepting the bit, as I originally intended. I do feel the product description could be clearer, as it gave the impression of a softer, more flexible material than what I received. That said, the customer service from Vet Shed has been excellent, very responsive and helpful throughout the process. I do appreciate their support, although I am a little disappointed that I need to return the item at my own expense.
