ROYAL CANIN® Mother & Babycat Ultra Soft Mousse is a specially formulated wet food designed to support the unique nutritional needs of both nursing queens and their kittens during the first stage of growth. This ultra-soft mousse texture is ideal for young kittens transitioning from milk to solid food and provides highly digestible nutrition to support early development.
This formula includes a scientifically supported antioxidant complex with vitamins C and E to promote a strong, developing immune system. It is enriched with DHA, an Omega-3 fatty acid, to assist in brain development and support healthy vision. The combination of prebiotics (MOS) and highly digestible proteins helps maintain optimal digestive health and balance the intestinal microbiota.
At around 4 months of age, kittens can be gradually transitioned to one of the ROYAL CANIN® kitten diets suited to their next growth phase—available in both dry kibble and wet food textures including loaf, gravy, or jelly.

By: Marty on 11 March 2020Royal canin babycat mouse is a fantastic first food for young kittens. I breed Maine Coon cats as well as having worked in rescue for years. This food is easy for learning baby’s to eat and I also recommend it for keeping weight on mum while she’s still feeding and recovering from raising her litter. This food is always readily accepted and I always keep some on hand to feed to any of my cats or rescues who are recovering from stress, surgery or illness.

Royal Canin Kitten Mousse good for Queen & Fam
By: Jane on 5 December 2017As a feline foster carer with Animal Rights & Rescue Group, Lismore NSW, I often receive pregnant cats, new mums or young orphaned kittens in care. For these fosters, the Mother & Baby Cat Mousse is ideal. Pregnant mums often arrive undernourished, so this Mousse helps give them condition quickly. Queens receive the extra nourishment needed for feeding newborns. Young orphans or kittens starting on solids find the Mousse easy to digest. Since using this Mousse in conjunction with Royal Canin First Age biscuits, I’ve had little problem with diarrhoea, which is a blessing with kittens of multiple ages in care.

Royal Canin Feline Baby Cat Instinctive
By: Jane on 23 July 2017Great nutritional food for kittens. My fosters are thriving on it, with good daily weight gains, solid poo, and no vomiting. They even eat it when I've added Lysine and probiotic powder to it, thats how much they love it. Great service from the Vet Shed and cheaper then buying from our local pet food stores.
