• Low level of copper and increased zinc content helps reduce the accumulation of copper in liver cells
• Antioxidant complex to help fight free radicals, maintain healthy DNA, promote a healthy immune system and protect liver cells
• High energy provided by increased dietary fat helps maintain bodyweight
• Calorie dense formula permits smaller meal volumes to be fed

Indications – may be prescribed to nutritionally manage:

• Chronic hepatitis
• Portosystemic shunt
• Hepatic encephalopathy
• Copper storage disease

Contraindications: 

• Pancreatitis or history of pancreatitis
• Hyperlipidemia
• Acute hepatitis without hepatic encephalopathy
• Growth, gestation and lactation
