ROYAL CANIN® Calm Dry Cat Food is a complete and balanced veterinary diet specifically formulated to help support cats experiencing periods of stress or behavioural change. Ideal for adult cats in anxiety-inducing environments or undergoing behavioural therapy, this diet contains a scientifically developed blend of nutrients to support emotional and physical wellbeing.
This specialised formula includes hydrolysed milk protein (alpha-S1 casein) and L-tryptophan, an amino acid involved in serotonin production, which together help reduce stress-related behaviours. For cats prone to grooming due to stress, a blend of dietary fibres, including psyllium, aids in the elimination of ingested hair to reduce hairball formation.
To support optimal skin health, ROYAL CANIN® Calm is formulated with nutrients that help reinforce the skin's natural barrier function. Additionally, this diet features the S/O Index, which helps create a urinary environment unfavourable to the formation of struvite and calcium oxalate crystals, promoting overall urinary health.
