Getting Started With Dog Agility

Dog agility is a wonderful way to build confidence, strengthen the bond between dog and owner and provide both physical exercise and mental stimulation. The hoop jump is one of the most recognisable agility obstacles and is a great starting point for dogs being introduced to agility training for the first time. Start with the hoop set low and reward your dog generously as they build confidence moving through it, gradually raising the height as their skills and comfort improve.

Please note: Always supervise your dog during agility training. Introduce new obstacles gradually and at your dog's own pace. Ensure the ground anchor spikes are firmly in place before use. Not suitable for very young puppies or dogs with existing joint or mobility issues - consult your veterinarian if unsure.
