PAW Osteocare® Joint Protect chews can be used if your dog is showing symptoms of stiffness, and limping or as a preventative measure. These chews are a great option for young active dogs as well as older dogs at risk of developing osteoarthritis.
Each PAW Osteocare chew contains:
- 500 mg glucosamine sulfate: to provide cartilage nutrition for joint cartilage health and joint function.
- 250 mg chondroitin sulfate: is a major component of joint cartilage and is required for cartilage and joint health.
- Balanced combination of other nutrients for joint health with ingredients such as MSM and a balanced blend of vitamins and minerals that work together to maintain the health of your dog’s joints.
Active ingredients:
- Rye flour, fish meal, glucosamine sulphate 500 mg, soy flour, chondroitin sulfate 250 mg, sodium chloride (salt), ascorbic acid 40 mg (vitamin c), manganese gluconate 22 mg, dimethylsulfone, besan flour, glycerine, guar gum, acetic acid, sodium stearyl lactylate, hydrolysed vegetable protein powder, smokey beef flavour, naturox, pectin, turmeric extract, potassium sorbate, water. This product contains fish meal.

It Really Helps

Dog loves it but beware when you open a new tub...
By: Gus on 18 February 2020My dog has angular limbs and severe arthritis. He is on this chews for years and it helps in some way with his current medication and CBD oil. Beware when you open a new tub - the edge of the lid is so sharp and sliced my thumb this morning!

Paws Osteocare chews for joint problems
By: Clorine Jackson on 24 March 2018My dog had been limping so I am trying the osteocare chews to see if they will help. Ella loves them, thinks they are treats, but as yet it's too soon to tell if they will work as it took three months on a concentrated human adult dose of the same ingredients to work a few years ago. However, the vet says to continue with them and I believe they may be helping her somewhat, so I'm onto the third month now.

By: Clorine Jackson on 13 January 2018My dog loves them, but it may take a few months before I see the result as when I used this type of product once before, my dog did eventually stop limping, but it was not a pet product I used but one meant for humans. However, I thought this one would be better to give her as she can just chew it up. If she has arthritis, and they help her I will definitely keep buying them for her.

Seems to work
By: Neil on 27 November 2017I have an old dog. Actually for the size of the breed the vet is surprised he is still alive and healthy. I've been using these chews for a few years now and the dog is walking normally and at a fast pace for his age. I can't make any scientific claim that they work, I can only say that I believe they are doing something to help. The best bit is I don't have to force him to swallow them because he excitedly looks forward to them every morning as a treat!

Seem to be working really well
By: Tammy on 23 October 2016we have 2 dogs that are 11 years old ... have been using these chews for about 2 weeks ... have noticed that the dog that was having trouble sometimes getting down the stairs ( we are in a highset house ) now seems to be having less trouble less often ... will definitely keep going with these chews
