NexGard Chewable Tablets for Small Dogs (Blue) provide safe, fast-acting, and long-lasting protection for dogs weighing 4.1–10 kg. Trusted by Australian veterinarians, this beef-flavoured chew is easy to administer and keeps your dog protected from external parasites all year round.
Unlike topical treatments, NexGard chews are mess-free and water-resistant, so bathing, swimming, or shampooing will not reduce their effectiveness.
Key Benefits

How NexGard Works
NexGard contains Afoxolaner, a powerful ectoparasiticide. Once ingested, it circulates in the bloodstream, killing fleas, ticks, and mites when they attempt to feed. Fleas are eliminated before they can lay eggs, providing continuous protection for a full month.
Dosage & Administration
- Pack colour: Blue
- Dog weight range: 4.1–10 kg
- Tablet strength: 28 mg Afoxolaner per chew
- Administration: Oral – can be given with or without food. Offer as a treat or mix with food, ensuring the full dose is consumed.
- Frequency: One chew every 30 days.
- For dogs above 10 kg, use the appropriate NexGard size or combination to reach the correct dose.
Safety & Suitability
- Safe for puppies from 8 weeks of age and weighing at least 2 kg.
- Suitable for breeding, pregnant, and lactating dogs.
- Not recommended for dogs with known hypersensitivity to Afoxolaner.
- Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures — consult your veterinarian before use.

He loves them and doesn't hide anymore when we have to treat him! Also, our niece got a rash when she got the fluid treatments all over her, so a big bonus that it's safe for kids.

So I was so pleased to find this product! They were gobbled up with no vomiting and I haven't had any skin flare ups or dryness.
