Helpful for tying up problems, acidosis and dehydration.

Composition Sodium acid citrate (disodium hydrogen citrate) 283.3 g/L in a syrup base.
 Actions Alkaliniser, thirst stimulating agent, mild diuretic, sodium source.
 Indications 'Tied up' syndrome, acidosis and dehydration. Conditions requiring mild diuresis and urinary buffering in horses and greyhounds. Supportive treatment in kidney, bladder and urinary tract infections in horses.
 Contraindications Greyhounds with cystitis resulting in alkaline urine. Severe hypokalaemic states.
 Precautions Greyhounds suffering from cystitis may have alkaline urine; consult veterinary surgeon for correct treatment.
Ensure an adequate supply of clean drinking water is accessible.
 Withholding Periods Meat. Horses: nil.
 Dosage and Administration Greyhounds. Add 4 to 6 mL to the food or milk after hard work.
