Nature Vet Vitamin B1 Injection provides the essential vitamin Thiamine (Vitamin B1) to support energy production, carbohydrate metabolism, and normal nerve and muscle function in horses and dogs. It is especially beneficial for hard-working or stressed animals requiring additional B1 supplementation.

Composition:

Thiamine hydrochloride 125 mg/mL

Actions:

• Provides essential Thiamine (Vitamin B1) to assist in carbohydrate metabolism and energy production for all cells.
• Supports the breakdown of pyruvic and lactic acids, aiding muscle performance and recovery in hard-working animals.
• Essential coenzyme in glucose metabolism for energy release.
• Works with Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) in the metabolism of proteins and amino acids.
• Supports healthy nerve, stomach, and heart function.
• Water-soluble vitamin that requires regular supplementation as it cannot be stored in the body.
• High doses may assist in calming nervous or excitable horses.

Indications:

For the treatment and prevention of Vitamin B1 deficiency in horses and dogs.

Dosage and Administration:

Give 5–10 mL by intramuscular injection regularly twice weekly, or as advised by a veterinary surgeon.

Presentation:

100 mL sterile injection for intramuscular or intravenous administration.

Clinical Signs of Deficiency:

Thiamine deficiency may present as fatigue, muscle weakness, loss of appetite, and increased heart rate, particularly in endurance horses fed high-grain diets.

Storage:

Store below 25°C (air conditioning). Protect from light.
