Heartgard Plus come in a 6 month pack and prevents Heartworm and treats and prevents roundworm and hookworm in dogs. Heartgard Plus is a palatable beef chew cube that contains ivermectin and pyrantel which may be offered by hand or added to food.
Heartworms (up to 30cm long in dogs) live in the heart and blood vessels of the lungs, interfering with circulation and damaging tissues. This may eventually cause heart failure. Left untreated, this can result in the death of your dog.

This stuff is great! He loves them and doesn't hide anymore when we have to treat him! Also, our niece got a rash when she got the fluid treatments all over her, so a big bonus that it's safe for kids.
