Hartmann's IV Infusion (Compound Sodium Lactate Solution) is an isotonic intravenous solution indicated as a source of water and electrolytes. It is used in the treatment of dehydration and as a source of bicarbonate in the management of mild to moderate metabolic acidosis associated with dehydration or potassium deficiency. Supplied as a 1000ml bag, each unit contains a balanced electrolyte formulation designed for intravenous administration under veterinary supervision.
