5,000+ Five Star Reviews
Sourced from the nutrient-rich foothills of Mount Aso Volcano in Japan, Fluval Stratum is a premium substrate designed for planted aquariums and shrimp habitats. Its natural composition provides the ideal foundation for lush plant growth, healthy aquatic life, and optimal water conditions.
Key Features:
- Enhanced Plant Growth: Encourages strong root development as plants easily penetrate the substrate to access vital nutrients.
- Promotes Beneficial Bacteria: Porous structure supports rapid colonization of nitrifying bacteria for improved water quality.
- Ideal pH Support: Helps maintain a neutral to slightly acidic pH, suitable for most plants, tropical fish, and shrimp species.
- Shrimp-Friendly Refuge: Offers newborn shrimp a safe haven from predators until they mature.
- Clear Water: Will not discolor aquarium water and helps reduce organic staining caused by natural driftwood.
- Freshwater Use: Perfect for all freshwater aquarium setups.
Fluval Stratum is the natural choice for creating a thriving planted aquarium while supporting the unique needs of shrimp and tropical fish.
