What will it provide my chicken?

Barastoc Pullet Starter Feed is specially formulated to support the healthy growth and development of pullets as they transition from immature birds to strong, adult laying hens. Each pellet is packed with a balanced mix of high-quality protein, energy, and phosphorus to ensure pullets receive the right nutrition at this critical stage.

This feed contains an anticoccidial agent to help prevent coccidiosis, a common intestinal infection caused by the Eimeria parasite that young birds are particularly vulnerable to. Designed as a small crumble, it is ideal for young birds with small beaks, making it easier for them to consume.

What’s in it?
Selected ingredients include: Wheat, Barley, Vegetable Protein Meals, Legumes, Oats, Canola Oil, Soybean Oil, Shell Grit (Fine and Coarse Calcium), Salt, Enzymes, Essential Vitamin and Mineral Premix, Anticoccidial, Phosphate, and Amino Acids.

Feeding Guide:

• Ensure birds have continuous access to feed. Do not restrict consumption. Expected pullet intake is 95g per bird per day.
• Self-feeders are ideal to ensure constant access to feed.
• Always provide clean, fresh water at all times.
• Follow any additional feeding instructions provided by your livestock provider.

Contains Medication:
Contains 80mg/kg Lasalocid Sodium, which helps prevent coccidiosis caused by Eimeria spp. in layer replacement pullets.

Important Warning:

• Only for broilers, replacement pullets, and turkeys.
• Do not feed to hens producing fertile eggs or game birds other than turkeys.
• Do not feed to horses or other equids.

Withholding Periods:

• Meat: Do not use less than 1 day before slaughter for human consumption.
• Eggs: Do not use in laying birds within 14 days of laying eggs or egg products for human consumption or processing.
• Turkeys: Meat: Zero (0) days.

Storage Requirements:
For optimal quality, store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, and below 30°C. Keep off the floor.
