Aquasonic Methylene Blue - 100ml

AQUASONIC Methylene Blue Solution is formulated to help treat and manage white spot disease (Ichthyophthirius multifiliis) and superficial fungal infections in freshwater aquarium fish. It also serves as a preventive measure against fungal infections on fish eggs.

Usage Instructions:

• Staining Potential: This solution is a strong dye that may stain aquarium surfaces and can impact beneficial bacteria in biological filters.
• Preparation Steps: Remove any activated carbon or absorbent materials from the filtration system, and reduce the flow rate on under-gravel filters during treatment.
• Important Precautions: Use caution with aquatic plants, as higher-than-recommended doses may be harmful. Not for use on fish meant for human consumption. Avoid ingestion.

Dosage Guidelines:

• Add 5 mL per 20 liters of aquarium water. Toxic to corals. Do not overdose. Repeat treatment after 3 days if necessary.
