API® Quick Start is a powerful, ready-to-use solution that instantly kickstarts the natural aquarium cycle, making it safe to introduce fish right away. Packed with live nitrifying bacteria, it works immediately to establish a healthy biological filter by converting toxic ammonia into nitrite, and then nitrite into harmless nitrate. This process helps prevent dangerous spikes in toxins, reducing stress and fish loss in your aquarium.

In a new or recently cleaned aquarium, the beneficial bacteria needed for a stable ecosystem are often absent or insufficient.
