How Advantix® Works
- Imidacloprid (100 g/L): Destroys fleas on contact by targeting their nervous system, preventing bites and egg-laying.
- Permethrin (500 g/L): Repels and kills ticks, mosquitoes, and biting insects by blocking nerve signals.
This dual-action formula provides rapid results while offering sustained, month-long protection against multiple parasites.
Application Instructions
- Weigh your dog to ensure they are within the 4–10kg range.
- Hold your dog comfortably in a standing position.
- Part the fur at the base of the neck, between the shoulder blades, until the skin is visible.
- Open the sealed tube and apply the entire contents directly to the skin.
- Do not massage in — allow the solution to dry naturally.
- Apply monthly for fleas, lice, ticks, and biting insects, or fortnightly for paralysis tick protection.
⚠️ Important: Do not use on cats. Keep cats away from recently treated dogs until the product has completely dried.

By: Jane on 11 December 2018I have been using advantix on my Maltese and her pups( jack Russell x cavalier king Charles spaniel) for 10yrs and 8 yrs on the boys. I love this product, my dogs have never seen a flea or a tick. We live on a bush block and the dogs do go for walks along a bush track from time to time .we do check them for ticks and we also use a tick collar in summer. My dogs live insde .

By: Jane on 28 May 2018A great product for fleas and ticks. Affordable and no observable side effects and easily applied. I feel much more confident when the pups run into bush or long grass. Paralysis ticks are only covered for the first two weeks however. Dogs can be washed mid month with soap free shampoo.

Advantix seems to be the only flea and tick preven
By: Sandi on 30 June 2011Advantix seems to be the only flea and tick preventative that works. I can vouch for it too. My puppy recently had a scare she had the runs for a couple of days and we didn't know what it was, so we bathed her waited the right about of time and put advantix on her, behind the neck, in the middle of her back and the base of her tail it was a miracle she was well again within 6 hours. Two days later we found a tick on her that was dead thanx advantix
