Advantage Purple 6pk is for cats over 4kg. It is a "Spot On" flea preparation for cats from any age. Advantage needs to be applied monthly and will also kill flea larvae in the surroundings of the treated animals. Advantage is safe for use on pregnant and lactating animals. It is not necessary to treat unweaned kittens with Advantage as treatment of the mother protects the litter while in contact. Treat the mother with Advantage until weaning, then treat individual kittens.
Advantage purple will treat cats over 4kg.

advantage works
By: JenB on 16 October 2016Advantage was the first product of this type that we used. We live on a farm and had fleas in the house. Using Advantage for cats and the one for dogs and a spray for the floors and furniture. the flea problem was solved in 1 to 2 months and has never been a problem since. We have been talked into trying other newer products since but go back to Advantage because its better value for money and it works. At one time we had 5 cats and 5 dogs, no fleas.

Good product but issue with delivery
15 August 2014I bought two items and only one arrived. Vetshed had not sent the product but this was quickly rectified. Good communication and customer service overall.

A very good product for flea control! It kills adu
By: Angela on 30 June 2011A very good product for flea control! It kills adult, larval & egg stages of flea life cycle. It also forms crystals that will drop off in the environment to kill fleas off the animal it is applied to.

Advantage has been great for my cat; I use it once
By: Anna on 30 June 2011Advantage has been great for my cat; I use it once a month as per the directions and he doesn't scratch himself anymore! It is a liquid that I put on the back of his neck, which makes it it far easier than giving him a tablet. I would recommend this product for all cat owners.
