APPLEMAX™ GOLD is an apple-flavoured, low-dose liquid wormer and boticide for horses. It provides broad spectrum treatment and control of common internal parasites, including tapeworms, strongyles and bots, with targeted dosing to help minimise product waste.

Each pack includes a dosing syringe so you can deposit the dose at the back of the horse’s tongue for easier administration. APPLEMAX™ GOLD can be safely used in all types of horses, including foals, pregnant and lactating mares, and breeding stallions.

What It Treats & Controls

For treatment and control of tapeworms, large strongyles, small strongyles, hairworms, pinworms, roundworms (ascarides), intestinal threadworms, large-mouthed stomach worms, bots, lungworms, summer sores and cutaneous onchocerciasis.

Active Constituents

• Praziquantel: 75 mg/mL
• Ivermectin: 10 mg/mL

Dosage & Administration

The recommended dose is 1mL per 50kg liveweight (equivalent to 200 μg ivermectin per kg liveweight and 1.5 mg praziquantel per kg liveweight).

• 50kg: 1mL
• 100kg: 2mL
• 200kg: 4mL
• 300kg: 6mL
• 400kg: 8mL
• 500kg: 10mL
• 600kg: 12mL

Tip: Use the included syringe to place the dose on the back of the tongue, then hold the horse’s head up briefly to encourage swallowing.

Storage & Leftover Product

If you don’t use all of the product at one time, simply replace the cap and store as directed on the label. The remaining product can be used up until the expiry date.
