Pyohex Lotion

Pyohex Lotion helps treat and prevent the recurrence of superficial dermatitis associated with Staphylococcus intermedius infections in dogs. It is intended for use after washing with an antibacterial shampoo, such as Pyohex Medicated Foam.

Pyohex® Medicated Shampoo features an antibacterial formula that effectively treats superficial bacterial infections. It cleanses the skin while reducing bacterial levels linked to skin conditions.

Signs of these skin infections may include red patches on the skin, often with pimple-like pustules, or reddish areas with crusty edges and hair loss. Dogs may be very itchy and scratch frequently. It’s crucial to manage this infection promptly, as it can worsen without treatment. In severe cases, a veterinary visit may be necessary for antibiotic treatment.

Directions for Use:

1. Wash the Dog: Use either Pyohex® Medicated Shampoo or Malaseb® Medicated Shampoo to cleanse the dog’s coat.
2. Rinse: Rinse the coat thoroughly and towel dry.
3. Apply Conditioner: Dispense a small amount of Pyohex® Medicated Conditioner into your hands, then gently massage it into the dog's coat, ensuring even coverage. Do not rinse off.
4. Dosage: Use approximately 1 mL of conditioner per kilogram of the dog's weight.
5. Application Areas: Pyohex® Medicated Conditioner can be applied to both haired and non-haired skin areas.
