Feeding Instructions:

This feed is ideal for birds preparing for breeding. Begin transitioning your bird to Breeder Hookbill Pellets approximately six weeks before the breeding season, and continue feeding until the chicks have fledged.

To transition from a mixed diet to pellets, start with a 50:50 ratio of the existing mix and pellets. If your bird is not familiar with pellets, you may need to crumble them initially to make them easier to eat. Gradually reduce the amount of the previous mix over several weeks, allowing your bird to fully adjust to a pellet-based diet.
