The special granular formula in foundergaurd is targeted to control the activity of bacteria in the hindgut that ferment starches and sugars producing excessive acidity. Without Founderguard, uncontrolled rapid fermentation results in a build up of lactic acid in the gut, which can increase the risk of founder (laminitis). Regular daily use of Founderguard therefore minimises the harmful side effects of grain feeding.

Precautions Effects have not been assessed in breeding horses, and therefore should not be given to pregnant mares or stallions used for breeding.

Do not inhale dust. Wash hands after use. When preparing in bulk feed mixes wear elbow length PVC gloves, and when using in enclosed areas wear elbow length PVC gloves and disposable respirator. After each day's use wash gloves.
