At The Vet Shed, we know how important it is to receive your order safely and as quickly as possible. We work hard to provide reliable, trackable delivery options at competitive rates, while making sure every parcel is packed with care.
All orders are sent using barcoded, trackable delivery services and are insured for added peace of mind.
Shipping Options
Depending on your postcode, you may see several delivery options available at checkout including Courier, eParcel Post, and Express Post.
- Courier and eParcel: Generally travel via road transport.
- Express Post: Usually the fastest option once dispatched and typically travels via air rather than road.
- All services: Are tracked and insured.
If a courier option does not appear at checkout, this means we do not currently have a courier servicing your postcode and Australia Post delivery options will be shown instead.
Shipping costs are automatically calculated based on your delivery address and the weight of your order. The total postage cost will always be displayed before payment is required.
Shipping calculators are also available on product pages for convenience.
Free Shipping
We offer FREE standard shipping on Australian orders over $150 and under 1kg.
For most areas of Australia, standard shipping is up to $7.95 for smaller lightweight parcels.
Shipping costs may vary depending on parcel weight and delivery location. Exact shipping charges are always shown clearly at checkout before your order is finalised.
Vaccine Shipping
Vaccines incur an additional postage charge to cover specialised packaging, refrigeration requirements, and express transport to help maintain product integrity during transit.
Express Shipping
Express Post is the fastest delivery option available once your parcel has been dispatched.
In most cases, Express Post parcels travel by air rather than road, helping reduce delivery time in transit. However, Express Post refers to the postal service used after dispatch and does not include priority picking or same-day dispatch from our warehouse.
All orders are processed in the order they are received and our standard dispatch timeframe of 1-4 business days still applies.
If your order is particularly urgent, please contact our team as soon as possible after placing your order. While priority dispatch cannot be guaranteed, we will always do our best to assist where possible.
Please note that Express Post is not guaranteed next business day delivery, as delivery speeds depend on Australia Post network conditions and destination postcode.
Dispatch Timeframes
All orders are processed and dispatched within 1-4 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays.
This allows our warehouse team time to carefully pick, pack, and prepare your order. Once dispatched, you will receive an email containing tracking details.

Delivery estimates are based on business days only and exclude weekends, public holidays, and peak periods such as major sales events or Christmas.

International Shipping
We ship to selected international destinations. Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on parcel weight and destination.
All international parcels are sent via insured airmail.
Orders are generally dispatched within 1–4 business days. Delivery typically takes between 9–26 working days depending on destination.
Tracking Information
Where is my tracking number?
Tracking details are emailed once your parcel leaves our warehouse. If you have not yet received tracking information, your order is still being processed.
Why is my tracking not updating?
Tracking updates can take up to 24 hours after dispatch to appear. Some carriers scan parcels once they arrive at the depot rather than at pickup.
If your tracking has not updated after 24 hours, please contact our team and we will be happy to assist.
Delivery Delays Outside Our Control
The Vet Shed is not liable for delivery delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, transport disruptions, extreme weather, quarantine restrictions, government action, or carrier network interruptions.
