Vibration is the newest form of stimulation to be used by PetSafe and is one of the gentlest, softest methods available today. The VBC-10 Vibration Bark Control Collar has two primary features designed to shorten the training phase and promote good behaviour.

First, it offers 10 combinations of Vibration Stimulation. When the dog barks, vibration is delivered from one of the two Vibration Points. The duration of the vibration is random, which interrupts the dog’s bark. When used according to instruction, the Vibration Bark Control Collar safely reduces (and in most cases eliminates) nuisance barking.

Second, the Vibration Bark Control Collar includes Patented Perfect Bark™ technology. It uses both vibration and sound sensors (dual-detection) to discriminate each bark from other external noises. This ensures your dog’s bark is the only sound that will cause the stimulation.

As a built-in safety feature, if your dog barks 15 times or more within a 1 minute 20 second period, the Bark Control Collar will automatically shut off for 1 minute.

It works!

My small dog immediately responded to the collar - gentle vibration, no trauma to him of me! Six months later I occassionally need to put it on him (not turned on) at 5pm peak barking times and he won't bark. It has gently taken my much loved pet from being an annoying yapper to both us and our neighbours to being simply a much loved pet. Our neighbours have all commented on the change.

Works Well to stop barking

We have two dogs and purchased our Petsafe VBC-10 Vibration Bark Collar because it was sensitive only to the dog wearing the collar. We had tried a citronella model previously and it went off when our other dog barked. We were not interested in shock or sound appliances as they hurt the dog. Many seem to have a hi-pitched sound and vibrate but this only sends a signal through vibration. It works well, is easy to put on and does not hurt the dog. My only annoyance was to discover the replacement batteries cost around $25 after 3 months.

When this is working it does have the desired effect but I seem to have to do a test run each time as just turning it on doesn't seem to work. Also need a coin to turn it on so it's not something I can just quickly grab to put on. Certainly doesn't hurt my dog which I was concerned about, the vibration seems enough to distract him from carrying on. The citronella collar had lost it's effect.

Absolutely wonderful. They don't hurt the dog, just give it a fright. I trained my dog by telling her it was a bark collar. After a few times I don't even have to put it on, I just say

The Vet Shed was amazing to deal with. I needed this product ASAP and they delivered express within a day. I had the collar on that afternoon. My pup is a nuisance barker and it was becoming extremely stressful. He barked only twice before he realised what was happening. I felt terrible placing the collar on him but things are so much less stressful. I never thought the day would come where I didn't constantly have to venture into the backyard and yell like a crazy lady! This bark collar is fantastic! I will recommend this brand and also The Vet Shed to all family and friends!
