Proban is an oral medication for control of ticks, fleas and demodectic mange in dogs and for control of fleas in cats. Proban is often used in combination with Frontline for additional tick prevention in high risk areas. As fleas and ticks thrive and breed most rapidly in a warm environment, Proban should be commenced as the temperature starts to get warmer, and to be continued until the cooler weather. Daily checking of ticks is recommended, especially in high risk tick areas. Not to be used on sick, pregnant and lactating animals or those recovering from surgery or receiving another organophosphate.
Dosage and Administration:
Dogs: Flea Control: 1 tablet per 10kg bodyweight twice a week. Paralysis tick: 1 tablet per 10kg bodyweight on alternate days. Continue treatment through tick season.

Bay-O-Pet Kiltix collar is used for the control of paralysis ticks for 6 weeks and prevention of fleas and other ticks for 5 months.The Kiltix collar is a plastic resin collar, weighing 45gms. This collar should be worn continuously. Please remember daily searching for paralysis ticks is advisable (especially in paralysis tick areas), and removal of any tick found is a wise precaution. In dogs with very thick double coats it may take up to 1 week for the Bay-O-Pet Kiltix Collar to establish effective levels in heavily coated areas of the body. The Kiltix Collar resists the effects of water, however, it is recommended that it be removed during bathing. Constant swimming and bathing will remove insecticide from the coat and may cause diminished flea and tick control. Safe to use in conjunction with Frontline or Advantage.

The Preventic Tick Collar kills ticks (including paralysis ticks), for up to two months. The active ingrediant in the Preventic Tick collar is Amitraz, which, once the tick collar is worn, migrates over the whole body of the dog enabling the elimination of ticks; it is absorbed by the fatty layer. The powder is insoluble to water and has a very high affinity for skin and hair. The Preventic Tick Collar is neurotoxic to ticks and will kill those travelling on the skin. When the collar is first placed on the dog the adult ticks will be killed over the entire body of the dog within a few days. Remove any dead ticks remaining in the dogs coat. Remember to inspect your dog on a daily basis for ticks (especially in paralysis tick areas). Replace the collar after 2 months to ensure continued protection. Remove the collar immediately should any signs of skin irritation occur. Safe to use in conjuction with Frontline or Advantage.

Drontal is a formulation of three distinctly different proven drugs offering the broadest spectrum of activity. The synergistic febantel/pyrantel combination is active against roundworms and hookworms and is highly effective against whipworms. Praziquantel provides a superb level of efficiency against all the major tapeworms.
Drontal treats all gastrointestinal worms including roundworm, hookworm, whipworm and tapeworm (including hydatids).

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
