How to Order

 

Ordering over the internet from The Vet Shed is a simple and convenient way to shop for your pet products, when you have made your order you will receive automatic email updates of the status of your order. This is a detailed description of how to make an order that is suitable for someone ordering over the internet for the first time.

If you have any questions that aren’t answered here or you are still having trouble making an order please Contact Us by email or phone and we will be only too happy to help you. If you would rather not use our internet site to make an order, we can take your order over the phone or via fax, mail or email, our contact details can be found by clicking on Contact Us on the left side of the Home Page.

There are three steps to making an internet order

1. Creating yourself an account

2 . Selecting the pet products you wish to buy

3. Paying for your order

STEP 1 : Creating Yourself An Account

Your first step to making an order is to create yourself an account, once you have an account you can start shopping – hit the Join Now button in the top right hand corner of the Home Page.

NEW ACCOUNTS PAGE

  • The new account page requires all your contact details so that we can deliver your orders. Be sure to take care to enter your details correctly and fill all the spaces that have a red asterisk.
  • If you would like us to send you a monthly newsletter click the small box beside the newsletter option.
  • Your password will be required every time you log in, so make sure it’s something easy to remember. Your password must be 5 characters in length, you must repeat your password in password confirmation. Keep in mind the password will be case sensitive.
  • When you have completed all your details, click on the icon at the bottom of the page.
  • If you have entered all the required information you should be popping the champagne and being congratulated. Hit the continue button and you will be returned to the Home page with a small Welcoming message. You are now ready to browse our website and products and go shopping.
STEP 2 : Selecting Products to Purchase – Making an Order

To make an order you will first have to be sure that you are logged into your account, if you have just created yourself a new account you will automatically be logged in and ready to shop.

There are two ways to find the pet products you are looking for

  1. Choose from our Animal Categories on the upper left side of the home page ie either click on the Dog, Cat, Horse or Bird. A list of different types of animal products will appear – continue to select the appropriate categories to find the products you are searching for.

eg. If you were looking for a dog shampoo, you would start by clicking the Dog icon and then clicking on Shampoo’s and conditioners from the provided list. You are then presented with a list of the different brands of shampoo, select the brand of shampoo and all the products available in that brand will appear.

  1. The second way of finding the product you want is to enter the name of the product you are searching for into the search box at the bottom left hand corner of the home page. All products that contain the search word entered will appear.

If you still can’t find a product you are looking for then please click on the icon at the bottom of the home page and you can send us a quick email about what you are looking for and we will send you a prompt reply about finding that product for you.

    • Once you have found the product you want, select the buy now button, don’t worry, you can change your mind later if you want to.
    • After selecting the buy now button you will be taken to the WHAT’S IN MY CART page where you can view everything you have selected and remove any items you wish to change.
    • To remove an item simply click on the small remove box then click on the button.
    • To add more items to your shopping cart simply click continue shopping and start again.
STEP 3 : PAYING FOR YOUR ORDER
  • When you are ready to pay for your order click the SHOPPING CART icon on the right side of the home page, then click on the checkout button.
  • The delivery information page will list your address that you first entered when you logged in. If you wish to have the order sent to an alternative address click on the CHANGE ADDRESS button.
  • The cost of postage will be automatically calculated, for more information on how we calculate postage go to the Postage and Handling button on the left side of the Home Page.
  • Hit the CONTINUE button when you are ready to move to the next page. At any time you can move back a page by clicking the –GO BACK icon on the central upper home page.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

  • The payment Information page gives you the choice of how to pay for your order

Choose from

    • Credit Card via secure bank
    • Check/Money order
    • PayPal
    • Phone in your credit card details

  • Credit card via secure bank : This is the fastest and easiest way to pay for your order. Our website uses 128 bit SSL encryption making it very safe to place your credit card on our website. You can pay with visa, mastercard, bankcard, Diners Club pr American Express. All orders must be paid in Australian dollars only. Be sure not to leave any spaces when entering your credit card number and then enter the SUBMIT button.
  • Check/Money Order : Orders paid by cheque or money order will not be able to be sent until we receive payment. This payment method is only suitable to customers in Australia.
  • Paypal : This option is designed for overseas buyers to pay for orders in their own currency. If you are using Paypal for the first time you will need to register with Paypal.
  • Phone in your credit card details: if you prefer not to enter your credit card details on the internet then simply phone us you details. Out of office hours, you could fax your credit card details or leave a message, go to Contact Us on the home page for all of our contact details for both local and international customers.
  • Once you have completed your order you will receive an email confirming your order. As your order is processed and shipped, you will receive constant email updates.

OVERSEAS BUYERS – CURRENCY CONVERSION

For all overseas customers please be aware that all our prices are in Australian dollars. To convert to your local currency please use the currency converter located on the left hand side of the site.

Overseas customer can pay via credit card in Australia dollars on our secure bank page, or you can choose to pay in your local currency by selecting the Paypal payment method when making your order.
