Royal Canin Vet Care Feline Dental Dry Cat Food
- Prescribed by veterinarians for the nutritional management of cats with dental concerns or a tendency for dental problems
- The diet is recommended for cats prone to developing tartar or after teeth have been scaled
- Sodium polyphosphates bind salivary calcium which effectively reduces tartar formation
- The unique shape and size of the kibble works is designed to rub against the teeth to help reduce plaque and tartar build-up
- Assists in the prevention of urinary crystals through urine dilution
- Helps to maintain a healthy digestive system
- Contains psyllium and dietary fibres to facilitate the elimination of hairballs in stools
- S/O Index - promotes a urinary environment unfavourable for struvite and calcium oxalate urolith development
Indications – may be prescribed to nutritionally manage:
- Daily oral hygiene in adult cats
- Limiting the development of dental plaque and tartar
- Halitosis (bad breath)
Contraindications:
- Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
- Cardiac Disease (when sodium restriction is sought)
- Gestation, lactation, and growth

Cats favourite biscuits
By: Michael & Pauline Clarke on 3 October 2020"Ollie" loves his Dental biscuits, the taste must be exceptional as he looks forward to a dish full every day. He now has nice clean white tartar free teeth and has also lost weight so he is now taut trim and terrific with much more energy. I fully recommend these biscuits for an active mature cat.

She is now 10 years old and, so far, hasn't developed any signs of tooth decay or gum infection; such decay and infection evidently being a commonplace ailment in the Himalayan and Persian breeds.

She has never tired of eating them (which she does with other pellets that we purchase from time to time to give her some variety) . She is almost 10 years old now and her teeth are very strong and clean - thanks to these pellets! It's good to hear her crunch-crunching these pellets because we know that they are cleaning her teeth and, as well, making her jaws strong. They are a good filler for her along with her meat diet and she has never put on any excess weight from eating them.

10 August 2014I love this product, and so does my tom cat Tony! He loves to crunch on them, and they help keep his teeth clean and his breath smells good. I give him about 10 every meal, so you can imagine how long the bag lasts!
