Royal Canin Vet Care Feline Dental Dry Cat Food

Prescribed by veterinarians for the nutritional management of cats with dental concerns or a tendency for dental problems
The diet is recommended for cats prone to developing tartar or after teeth have been scaled
Sodium polyphosphates bind salivary calcium which effectively reduces tartar formation
The unique shape and size of the kibble works is designed to rub against the teeth to help reduce plaque and tartar build-up
Assists in the prevention of urinary crystals through urine dilution
Helps to maintain a healthy digestive system
Contains psyllium and dietary fibres to facilitate the elimination of hairballs in stools
S/O Index - promotes a urinary environment unfavourable for struvite and calcium oxalate urolith development

Indications – may be prescribed to nutritionally manage:

Daily oral hygiene in adult cats
Limiting the development of dental plaque and tartar
Halitosis (bad breath)

Contraindications:

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
Cardiac Disease (when sodium restriction is sought)
Gestation, lactation, and growth
