IMAX Gold liquid controls the following parasites of horses:

 

Tapeworms:Anoplocephala perfoliata, Anoplocephala magna, Paranoplocephala mammillana (adults, immature, heads & segments)

 

Large Strongyles:Strongylus vulgaris (adults & arterial larval stages) Strongylus edentatus (adults and tissues stages) Strongylus equinus (adults) Tridontophorus sp Craterostomum acuticaudatum (adults)

 

Small Strongyles: (Adults & fourth-stage larvae, including benzimidazole resistant strains).Cyathostomum spp Cylicocyclus spp Cylicostephanus spp Galocephalus spp Coronocyclus spp Parapoteriostomum spp Petrovinema spp Poteriostomum spp

 

Pinworms:Oxyuris equi (adults and fourth-larvae stage)

 

Ascarids:Parascaris equorum (adults & fourth-stage larvae)

Large Mouth Stomach Worms:Habronema muscae (adults). 

 

Bots:Gasterophilus spp (oral & gastric stages)

IMAX Gold is also effective for control of skin lesions caused by Habronema and Draschia spp cutaneous larvae (summer sores) and Onchocerca spp microfiliariae (cutaneous onchocerciasis)

 

Directions for Use: Shake well before use. The recommended dosage is 1mL per 50kg liveweight.  Can be given as an oral liquid or by nasogastric intubation (stomach tube).  Nasogastric intubation should only be undertaken by, or under the supervision of a registered veterinary surgeon.

 

Safety: IMAX Gold Liquid may be used in horses of all ages including mares of any stage of pregnancy, provided that normal care is taken in handling.  Stallions may be treated without adversely affecting their fertility.
