SAME ACTIVE INGREDIENTS IN A LIVER TASTING CHEW
Drontal treats all gastrointestinal worms including roundworm, hookworm, whipworm and tapeworm (including hydatids). While Drontal is effective in killing adult worms that are present in the intestine at the time of treatment, worming is not a vaccine against future attacks. That’s why regular treatment with drontal is essential. Dogs and cats can be reinfected from other pets and from the environment.

Dogs should be treated at 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 weeks of age, then monthly at 4, 5 and 6 months of age and then every 3 months. Pregnant and lactating bitches should be treated before mating, 10 days before whelping, then 2 and 4 weeks after whelping. Dogs in Hydatid Tapeworm areas need treatment with drontal every 6 weeks.

the best worm treatment

The chews are easy & buying the 20 pack of 10kg chews suits us because we can give out dogs 1, 2 or 3 depending on their size. Drontal does not upset our dogs stomach, which is a problem with other brands.
